New Year’s Resolution

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle

recycle-logo

As a LEED Gold building we are constantly looking for ways to improve our community.

2014 is our year of reducing, reusing, and recycling even more! You can help make a difference by recycling more at home. Our first step to growing our recycling program is education.

Recycling

Items Ok to Recycle

    • Flattened plastic bottles
    • Unbroken glass bottles and jars
    • Rinsed Tin Food Cans
    • Envelopes and Junk Mail
    • Flattened Aluminum Drink Cans
    • Dry Newspapers, Catalogs & Magazines
    • Empty Cereal & Dry Food Boxes
    • Flattened Cardboard recycle_bin_green

Place these recyclable items in the GREEN plastic bins inside the trash rooms on your floor.

Please continue to place in your regular trash bags… Plastic bags, styrofoam & to-go containers, aluminum foil, pie plates, wet newspaper, pizza boxes, packing peanuts, etc.

Trash Disposal

chute 1400 Hi Line provides trash chutes for trash removal. Our maintenance staff has asked for some assistance with proper disposal. Residents are encouraged to place trash in tightly secured plastic bags no larger than a tall kitchen bag. Loose items should not be thrown in the chutes. Please make sure that the door to the trash chute is securely closed after using it.

If you have large moving boxes, cartons, or large items, please place these items inside the trash room. These items can overwhelm the trash room quickly, so use extra diligence in breaking these down and flattening them as much as possible.

We ask for your cooperation in this matter so that all residents can enjoy a clean community! Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Management Office at 214.658.1400 or at live@1400hiline.com.
